Is there anyone else who is dead center?

I didn't like trump and I Don't like biden..... I just want someone centered.
TexChik · F
I liked Trump a lot. A no nonsense guy that got things done.

@Rosiechick13 Horses are not native to North America. They are native to Asia. Humanity brought the horse to North America.
Rosiechick13 · 26-30, F
@hippyjoe1955 actually equine were extinct 8000 ish years earlier then we're brought back by Europeans. Look it up
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Rosiechick13 Horses died out naturally. Understand it.

My dream would be to see a government run by people who actually cared more about the country and its citizens than their own power and influence. Then we could see compromise and common sense. And probably unicorns walking down mainstreet.
im an independent. some things i liked trump on and some things i didnt, but as for biden theres nothing i like that is coming out of the democratic party.
Rosiechick13 · 26-30, F
@undetermined I like a few things but not much
Northwest · M
You're in luck, we have a centrist President. Problem solved.
@Northwest lol he isnt centrist
Rosiechick13 · 26-30, F
@Northwest he is definitely still left
StevetheSleeve · 31-35, M
The best option is split government, so neither can accomplish anything.
JP1119 · 36-40, M
@undetermined Hold on now, did I ever say I was a Democrat? I’m an independent too.
@JP1119 all u do is praise dems so i doubt u are.
JP1119 · 36-40, M
@undetermined I know Republicans got control of the House in 2010 and didn’t lose it until 2018. The Senate I don’t remember for sure, but I was under the impression that it also went Republican in 2010 and stayed that way until 2020.

And I don’t “praise” dems any more than you “praise” gop. How do you imagine our political views would change without political parties? They might change a little bit, but I believe they would mostly stay the same. We don’t decide where we stand on the issues because we choose to identify with a brand name and then let those politicians tell us what to believe. Our stances on the issues flow naturally from our world views, the narratives we believe about how the world works. That comes in part from our experiences but also from biology. Yes, there are generally biological differences between liberals and conservatives.
JP1119 · 36-40, M
You’re not center, you’re right wing. Even Biden’s right of center. In any other developed country Bernie Sanders would be considered a centrist, and he’s the leftmost politician we have.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@JP1119 That is an exaggeration but only slightly.

In terms of policies, he'd be center-left in most European countries and centrist in the Nordic ones.

I'm being pedantic though and I get what you are saying.
Rosiechick13 · 26-30, F
@JP1119 you literally know nothing of my views lol
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
@JP1119 No, the overton window has shifted left because the left has gotten more extreme
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
The political centre is different in every country and also changes over time. I'd go off policies rather than noise.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
Stay in the centre too long you'll be tomorrow's radical as things move on.
syfy86 · 46-50, M
Yes, so it means we get hate from all sides. 😆

Manchin seems a good balance and level headed
@SW-User If you want the Koch Corporation to make all decisions about the country.
SW-User
@Pitchblue well, you let me know if you can think of a president that doesn’t have association with a large corporation
RoxClymer · 41-45, M
The worse/crazier US politics gets the more in the center I find myself
SW-User
I like trump but dislike republicans I hate democrats and loathe biden. I don’t know where on the chart I’d be considered
RedBaron · M
@SW-User If you like Trump, you definitely are not in the center.

The thing with trump is depending on what you watched what websites you used your impression of him will vary. I don’t have any social media I don’t watch any major news outlets. So I didn’t have altered stories or propaganda crammed down my throat. In his last impeachment trial his lawyers proved new casted altered his speeches on their stations what he has said was often took out of context and twisted to make him seem way more far right than what he was. I was disappointed that his entire presidency he was fighting bull shit claims and fighting everyone that went out of his way to make sure nothing could get done. I don’t see his policies as being far right he supported state rights he signed a bill legalizing delta 8 thc the closest progress the government ever made to legalize marijuana. He had a solid military policy. But if you took in all the propaganda against him you’d believe he was as far right and as radical as they come. I’m sure him dealing with all the shit he did made him lose his mind. If we had maturity on both side during his presidency and bipartisanship I believe Trump would have done everything he promised and had made more progress for this country than any other term before or after him @RedBaron
RedBaron · M
@SW-User "Him dealing with all the shit he did."

But it's important to recognize that he created that shit himself. He limited his chance to succeed with his attitudes and personality.

The only thing you'll find in the center of the road are yellow stripes and dead armadillos.
Graylight · 51-55, F
You're referring to a moderate, and there are more of this ilk than probably any other in politics.
Stopmakingsense · 56-60, F
There's definitely no hope in politics that centers itself like that.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
Define centered since we all believe we are centered.
RedBaron · M
Lots of folks are dead! 😂😂🤣🤣
