I dunno. People display it in different ways. As long as they are really respecting it, then it is what it is. However, burning it is the biggest disrespect in my book. As angry as I get with this country, I could never bring myself to burn the flag

@SpaceJesus You can probably imagine how much regular people from Iraq, Iran and any other country that burns US flags must hate the American govt.
SpaceJesus · 41-45
@justanothername Aye, I can. And they have every right to. If I could sit them down, one by one, and explain to them that not all of us are bad, they may see things differently. But alas, that is impossible
justanothername · 51-55, M
@SpaceJesus They would tell you the same thing about their country and their beliefs. Politicial differences create wars.
SpaceJesus · 41-45
@justanothername That it does, and it's a shame
justanothername · 51-55, M
@SpaceJesus People will always see America as the land of opportunity, they just dont consider the racism at political indifference until they arrive on US soil.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@justanothername Americans are very indifferent about politics , but we care a lot about being racists . Makes perfect sense .
A few bad apples right ?
A few bad apples right ?

@AthrillatheHunt I think that constant racism feeds peoples thoughts towards politics and the more that people see the effects of actions and decisions that create really bad outcomes such as unjustified treatment of members of the public by police and in some cases the armed forces or just numerous cases of unjustified treatment the more in encourages them to voice their opinions by way of seeking political change when voting for a new President.

@AthrillatheHunt You say " a few bad apples.." I would say the entire mindset of the Police force MUST change. There are too many recorded examples of unwarranted police brutality on Youtube to count... in the USA. Yes, the US, not South America, not Thailand, Rwanda... the US.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@justanothername dude the Hutus and Tutsis have nothing on the way Police treat people here in America. They have to change their ENTIRE mindset. The brutality and violence is overwhelming. I see it everyday with my own eyes when I look for it on YouTube. We must defund the police so that peace can be achieved.
