Landlords are people, too!

Landlords need to eat. They need to pay for their own housing. And they need to pay property tax, utilities, and probably at least one mortgage on that roof over your head. You think we LIKE coming around every month to people who can't or won't pay rent, asking for money? We have enough problems with repair work, bank payments, and city employees yelling at us to cut the grass, trim the hedges, etc. (Things the tenant could be doing, by the way...)

So yeah. Keep complaining about how fascist it is that you're expected to make a monthly payment for a four-bedroom house with a full kitchen in a nice neighborhood near a good school. Because I'm the dirtbag for offering that service for a monthly fee, when you're entitled to it and I owe you.

I don't know, I live in an area where the rent is 1,000 monthly for a one room apartment and note that's not one bedroom, it's one room. And these apartments are not even in good shape.

While I don't think landlords are to blame and it's more the economy, I could see some the frustration. I think we got a lot of homeless because rent is outrageous and more people can't afford it despite working a lot

@SatanBurger perhaps the good landlords suffer because of the other 99.99%
@SatanBurger For $2,000 a month, you could rent one of our houses in Milwaukie, Oregon.

@LordShadowfire Glad they got the money, most people don't or they're getting free money from the government. Sorry you're dealing with those types of people.
@SatanBurger Thanks. It's not like we don't make allowances. All of our places are approved by HomeForward (section 8).
