So then landlords should be subsidized in order to let you live rent free?
@Quetzalcoatlus Ooh! Yes! Subsidize us!!!

@Quetzalcoatlus Makes more sense to subsidize tuition instead, but I suppose it kinda of amounts to the same thing.
@QuixoticSoul Trust me. You want a landlord who's wealthy enough to be able to ignore the fact that you miss a rent payment or two.

@Quetzalcoatlus i was thinking more along the lines of seizing their property and redistributing it lol
@NoahB You would have to restructure the entire concept of land ownership in this country, and part of that involves getting rid of banks and mortgage companies. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but you have better have a plan in place when you create a vacuum that size.

@LordShadowfire all this sounds great to me. lets do it
@NoahB So what's the plan to replace the system with a more equitable one?
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@LordShadowfire The wealthier the landlord, the less likely they are to give their tenants a break lmao.

It’s easier to subsidize tuition and materials - then rent is the only thing students have to worry about. There are way less schools in this country than landlords - way less of a mess.
@QuixoticSoul All I know is my property, my headache, my rent.
