You know what else is also rich?

In 1866 the Republicans in congress were the ones who wanted to abolish slavery and ensure rights for the freed slaves.

They were called "the Radical Republicans"
@JaggedLittlePill Why you gotta bring up old shit. 🤣
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@DarkHeaven I might be one of them there radical liberals. 😜
@JaggedLittlePill I’m so not political. I have issues that I care about, but that’s it. I just don’t like politics because they only divide, never unite. Love you. 🖤🤗

@DarkHeaven Well the issues that are happening right now are a big deal and very political. If you don't care, that is your prerogative. I care. I am political. And that old shit is absolutely relevant.
@JaggedLittlePill I know, I was joking. Still just sticking with my issues only. No left right stuff for me. Light and love. 🖤🤗
@JaggedLittlePill Ironic, isn’t it ? Republicans brag about being the “Party of Lincoln”, while flying the Confederate battle flag...

@bijouxbroussard Absolutely.

@JaggedLittlePill And historically, in Europe, the people who wanted to limit the power of monarchies and give more strength to Parliaments, and thus who were advocating the creation of Republics, were called "liberal Republicans"
