It seems like it has been several years and I can鈥檛 say why! 馃槑馃コ I wish dr. Birx and Fauci would have said something besides the enabling looks.

What's so difficult to understand? No one is allowed to interrupt a President while he's either giving a press conference or addressing the nation. Why would you expect them to be any different from anyone else and commit political suicide? Do you think we would have been better off with another Trump puppet in place of those two?
@SW-User Why would you ask the question? He did that which was expedient for his career and incoming paycheck. trump had him stfu and like a good boy he complied while people die. Is that challenging for you?

@Aliveshock Not at all. However, your entire attitude seems to be laying blame at the wrong people's feet. Do you really believe people's lives would have been saved if he cut Trump off during his speech and contradicted him?
@SW-User trump deserves all of the glory for his attempted coup of democracy and the number of dead bodies didn鈥檛 matter. Fauci didn鈥檛 stand up and he acquiesced as Birx kissed the toes of the executive. It is quite possible he is missing a couple of stones and is safe now. In the meantime over 550k dies that he could have helped prevent but didn鈥檛. It is that simple.
@SW-User It is the responsibility for Fauci to protect the U.S. from infectious diseases and also keep our country from the politics of the day. There was NO cohesive strategy on masks even though other countries practiced masking from the very beginning. He only had to observe what other doctors told their countries. Bob Woodward revealed just before the election that trump knew exactly what we were facing. An infectious disease beyond any we had faced previously and one that needed the guidance of a medical professional of integrity. Dr. Fauci or Birx do not deserve that credit at any level. None! Dr. Fauci knew since January 2020 of the hazard we were up against and did not sound the alarm. Anyone that doesn鈥檛 think that both doctors and CDC fell flat on their face is ignoring the evidence, pure and simple!
