Al Qaeda were Islamic Extremist but they are Religous conservatives which means 9/11 was a Right Wing Terrorist attack. The Neo-conservatives and Al Qaeda: More Similar than Different?

the neo conservatives have far more in common with Al Qaeda than they do apart with them.
[@596681,TheBlackPowerRanger] As an Atheist I think people like Jerry Falwell had far more in common with Bin Laden than they did apart. They just didn't want to face the brutal truth. Their thoughts, their sentiments, they are hard to tell apart.

[@10406,BetweenKittensandRiots] I dunno who they are but anyone who sides with or sympathizes with al Qaeda needs to be imprisoned

today I listen to conservative commentators and all they want to comment on is how american society has broken down into a destructive materialism and decadence has taken over as consumption has become the only lasting american virtue.

Their attack on consumer society sounds a lot like Al qaeda.

I personally don’t care about any religion But I’m still not sure what right wing means.
I’ve never thought of it that way.
[@695370,Straylight] Listen to any of the people behind either Modern Conservatism or the islamic Terrorist and their commentary on Western Civ seems to be that it's a dacedent sinfupl place of hyper individualism where materialism has taken over.

They sound almost exactly the same.
