No. He used excessive force on a suspect who died as a result. Second degree murder, by definition.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@LordShadowfire not if viewed openly
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@MasterLee Suspect repeatedly said he couldn't breathe. Neither Chauvin nor his fellow officers adjusted the hold. Then the suspect died. Sounds pretty clear to me, even with underlying medical conditions.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@LordShadowfire except he was saying that long before. He was dying of an overdose.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@MasterLee So by all means, Chauvin should have ignored that and knelt on his neck to accelerate the process.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@LordShadowfire he should have called a paramedic but with all the fighting and resisting it was hard to get him under control.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@MasterLee Assuming he actually cared...
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@LordShadowfire he is a cop. I will suspect he cared or he never would have put on the uniform.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@MasterLee I see. What I'm hearing is that you're biased and you know it.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@LordShadowfire I believe law enforcement until given reason not to. I read the M.E. report and found your propped up version to be biased.
