He drove for nearly a mile, looking for a good spot to pull over, in a well lit gas station. This is what every motorist should do when pulled over, and what EVERY police officer should know and expect. He was NOT speeding away, or avoiding the police.

This is well known, don't need NewsMax (the article's content came from Newsmax host Greg Kelly.

He also is driving a new vehicle, therefore no rear plate. Any police officer should know that.

As to the gun, there is no proof of that. It is not shown in the video. It is not mentioned by the police officers. It is also NOT illegal. In the State of Virginia, you can legally have a handgun in a private motor vehicle.

So, is Greg Kelly denying him his 2nd Amendment rights? Or his 4th Amendment rights? Or his First Amendment rights? Or is he just doing it because he's black?

Which brings me to the point, why are you propagating this?

Absolutely not. In my state an officer can check my plates and know that I have CCW, before I’m pulled over. If the article is true, the first mistake was not immediately declaring that he had a loaded firearm in the vehicle.It’s possible he will have trouble with the Army, as well..@JoeyFoxx

@Oster1 He just bought the vehicle. Temporary Plates were in the upper right hand side of his rear window. He turned on his flashers while driving to a safe place to stop.

He said something like a traffic violation. Never mentioned anything specific.

I believe the older officer could have handled himself and the situation better. An example would be when the Lt. said, “I’m afraid to get out the car”, the older officer said, “you ought to be”. I do believe that mistakes were made on both sides, only from what I saw in the video. I believe that all involved, looking back, probably wished they had conducted themselves differently. The younger officer was decent and respectful..@JoeyFoxx
