Do you support the troops or do blue lives matter ?

clearly the disrespectful disobedience of this citizen towards the police officers cannot be tolerated. but then again he is serving the country and thats how our society treats em...

i would really like some conservative input on this.. shoudl those cops be fired ? or is the black guy lucky to be alive ? how does the military view the action of these cops ? is the behaviour acceptable ? i mean cleary those poor cops had all reason to feel threatened.

Pulling a gun on a man for having an unregistered vehcle.?? Any civilised country would end the careers of the Police Officers..But this is America...
@whowasthatmaskedman Well in Australia things are different. America( my suggestion is you stay out of it lest you get pulled over) The US is a nation where violence is prevalent in many ways and it is law enforcement that must deal with it. You ever been a police officer?

@soar2newhighs you dont have to be a cheese to smell something rotten
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@soar2newhighs No. However a friends son trains the equivalent of SWAT in another state and has US training himself. I wont repeat what he says about US policing. Its not flattering.
@whowasthatmaskedman Well for the uninformed, ignorant, politically correct, the defund the police bunch...take a walk into the world of what police officers all over the world face on a daily basis. Not all police go home after a tour of duty Many are LODDs.
Bad4U · 22-25, F
@soar2newhighs thats the problem... its not policeofficers all over the world. it is an american problem that the police infrastructure in our country is rotten and corrupted and it needs the be renewed. almost like you would drain a swamp...
@Bad4U you’re obviously ignorant of what police deal with, whether here or abroad.. There are far more decent cops than rogue cops but that is largely ignored until an incident that makes headlines occurs.
Bad4U · 22-25, F
@soar2newhighs there are plenty good cops...

@soar2newhighs you’re a moron.

Windsor is in the middle of nowhere and has an exceedingly low crime rate.

Why am I bothering with you? You are clearly an ignoramus.

@soar2newhighs True and its sad society is like that. However, they police choose the career.. and the sign on the door says "Protect and serve" Not search and destroy.. The public do NOT have the option of whether to be in the path of the police.

@soar2newhighs I hear you. And thet feeds into the gun control argument.
@whowasthatmaskedman “ Gun control” are you referring to police agencies?

@soar2newhighs
keeping it very simple: the population behaves, the police behave.
Hitler, Mussolini, Pol Pot, Stalin and Peron agree.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@soar2newhighs No.. Simply that if every citizen was not potentially carrying an arsenal, then police response could be more measured..
@Northwest My point: you interact with law enforcement, don’t let your behavior result in an unfortunate or lethal situation.
we’re talking about citizens and police and their interactions.
The tyrants you cite, disarmed their population and subjugated them.

@whowasthatmaskedman Yes. Our country has issues.
@whowasthatmaskedman well our weak politicians for fear of being called racist dare not truly address the issue in communities of color where gun proliferation is. Much of this spills out of those communities and when those guns are involved in situations where police are called it is not good.

The police should interact with me, just like a customer service representative does. With respect. In badly trained police departments, where they're taught that the police is an entitled class, to be feared, never look straight into the eyes, answer to things in "yes sir"" and "no sir", you can't ask them questions, and you are lucky you're not in handcuffs, you are going to end up with entitled pricks, who think they're to be adored and "obeyed", no questions asked, and if you don't comply, "we're going to do a few things to your body".

In police departments, where they're trained to think of themselves as public servants, there to protect and serve, and have polite interactions with people, you don't run into too many problems.

Right, they were all for law & order and kept the trains running on time. For the life of me, I don't know why US Conservatives are not in love with modern day China.
