Do you support the troops or do blue lives matter ?

clearly the disrespectful disobedience of this citizen towards the police officers cannot be tolerated. but then again he is serving the country and thats how our society treats em...

i would really like some conservative input on this.. shoudl those cops be fired ? or is the black guy lucky to be alive ? how does the military view the action of these cops ? is the behaviour acceptable ? i mean cleary those poor cops had all reason to feel threatened.

How many times was he ordered to exit the vehicle? Quite a few times. Had he complied it would not have necessitated the actions taken by the police.
Perhaps had he complied and was told why he was stopped, the reasons as per that Police department’s response to pulling a vehicle over, a clarification and a proper apology and thanks by the police for his cooperation for the situation, a cop would not have been fired and this Lieutenant’s career put in question.

@soar2newhighs Cop wouldn’t have been fired if he wasn’t filmed being a complete piece of shit so 🤷‍♂️
@QuixoticSoul what constitutes in this case as per your remark, a piece of shit? I watched the tape. This Lt. should have complied. Situation de escalated and ended,

@soar2newhighs in what delusional world is it ok for officers to act like that and threaten and pull guns on a citicen that posed no threat at all. this is america and american citizens have rights and acting like gestapo officer that pulls a gun on an innocent man withoput any threat or need is absolutely unacceptable in a free country and everyone who supports a free country can clearly see that
@Bad4U you need to understand that Police Department’s procedures on pulling over vehicles. I agree with your consternation but you need to have a better understanding of police, law enforcement and how and why they function and and operate as they do.

@soar2newhighs hmmm....if the officers (ex) were in the right, why did they feel it necessary to lie about the lieutenant's actions? Or about the warnings they gave, but did not?
Bad4U · 22-25, F
@soar2newhighs if police officers are scared for their lives to stop a vehicle without any indication of violence then they either have the wrong job, or there is something else fundamentqally wrong. checking a car without drawing your weapons is something that works evern in countries like north korea
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@soar2newhighs And If he had complied and still was harassed then what.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@soar2newhighs The cop was fired because the department’s investigators found that he did not follow procedures appropriately - but obviously you know their procedures better.
@Bad4U again, there are protocols for stopping vehicles and if the police draw their weapons it is probably permitted by their department’s procedures, not because the officers fear for their lives. That said if the weapons are drawn and the individual like this Lt. failed to comply after repeated commands to exit the vehicle, as trained officers, they very well had reasonable beliefs they were potentially at risk for harm.
Bad4U · 22-25, F
@soar2newhighs the army officr had more reason to fear for his life... this is tyranny
@QuixoticSoul No, but what procedure did he NOT follow? From the tape, had the Lt. done what he was told no
Firing, Lt. Went on his way.
@Zonuss your key word is “IF” and none of us know what would have occurred.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@soar2newhighs So you deny the fact that some cops are criminals. You must live in a box.😂
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@soar2newhighs I’m not employed by that department, I just see a cop acting like a piece of shit, and then getting fired by his department for not following procedures - litigation is pending, so I’m not surprised we didn’t get a point by point breakdown. It’s you who seems to be the expert.

@soar2newhighs The department investigators who found that the officer violated department procedures are police officers with law enforcement experience.

I’m a person with eyeballs so I can see that dude acting like a piece of shit - law enforcement expertise not required.
@QuixoticSoul that’s your opinion and so be it...but if you never as the adage goes, “walk a mile in my shoes” then you’ve never been there where you can judge.

@soar2newhighs
The department investigators who found that the officer violated department procedures are police officers with law enforcement experience.
They’ve been there.

And of course I can judge. After all - as a tax paying citizen, I am a client of these bozos.
@QuixoticSoul simple...the Lt. Should have complied.
