CDC lab reports state that the vaccines are 90% effective at preventing Covid infection with both doses, and 80% effective with one dose. Not sure where you're getting the idea that they don't prevent it at all.
Regardless, I'm getting my first dose tomorrow, so yes, I'm getting it. 90% protection is still better than 0% protection!
You are ill informed. The only way to stop this and get back to a normal life, eventually, is to get everyone vaccinated. Yes, it does prevent you from getting sick, and when it does not, it prevents you from having a bad case of Covid.
It will prevent you from getting sick when you do host the virus. That's how vaccines work. Not enough for you? Then die from it instead. Take your chances and keep the pandemic rolling.
They say if you have antibodies, and have had Covid19 already, vaccinations are not really necessary, and may actually be harmful...although the doctor I heard saying that did not say how it could be harmful.
My son and his entire family have had it. He survived even though he has two co-morbidities. His wife brought it home from a live-in special needs school, where she caught it from a co-worker.
My son says it is like a very bad case of the flu. I have a family of friends from my former church whose husband and father now has the virus, and a whopping case of double pneumonia. His little daughter brought the virus home from school.
What they DO say about getting vaccinated is that there is an enormous percentage of positive proof that even if you get the virus while vaccinated, you will NOT die of it.
Because this gets so close to DNA cells I will not be getting it How can they be assured the DNA cells are not going to be affected.... they can’t Don’t be fooled folks Don’t be their lab rat
