Unpopular opinion: women shouldn't be in the military

Either you can do the job or you can't regardless of gender
Standards should fit the job and be adhered to
But there are males that can't do the job and women who can

@pdockal And everyone brings this up in silly discussions like this and I have yet to see one example where the person making that point wasn't wrong. It usually is just an assumption to make sexists feel better.

And often requirements are set to generate a specific result (exclude women), and not set to the actual requirements of the jobs. Firefighting is an example of this.

@pdockal Simple. In BC Canada a case that went right to the Supreme Court proved that physical fitness requirements were set to benefit male applicants and had nothing to do with actually being able to do the job required.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow just because the courts greek that way (I don't agree with government) doesn't me its correct but I'm also not challenging it either

I support strong women
When there are 2 sets of requirements it makes women who can actually do the job get second guessed
When they lesson the requirements to allow more to qualify then they don't get the highest quality people regardless of gender
