"The base" has wrecked the Republican Party. What can they break next in the name of law-and-order? Are they all lazy and insane?

I'd say the Republican party wrecked itself by trying so desperately to play to the "base" that they handed the keys over to Trump and his like, tbh.

@MistyCee That's probably true... they let the base in rather than do the harder work of pitching their ideas to a broader cross-section of the population. Either way they lost by letting the base work their insurrection behaviour on the Party and now it's nothing but a shell.
