A delicate balance

Biden has all these plans/policies for dealing with COVID 19 and I guess to his way of thinking...stopping it. So if he goes ahead, changing immigration policy whereby many people enter this country, whether legally or illegally,how does that play in to stemming/stopping the COVID -19 problems-and alone in this country with the numbers we’re hearing daily on the new cases and the rise in the death toll? A balancing act for sure!

It is a balancing act now for sure. The Covid virus has taken over our lives! Covid-19 has Highjacked our livelihood in one way or another. As did the politics in our nation, along with our news and social media being it's platform.
(look up NWO, Illumintati, our Founding Fathers, Constitutional Rights, etc...)

Everyone in this chaotic country reads so quickly into others while other's forget to read into the Word and how this country was founded. How we became such a free world.
The Great USA, Home of the free, Land of the Brave. We ARE A FREE NATION, but also OUR DOLLARS carry the words in our everyday transactions UNDER GOD WE TRUST, but our bottom dollar means nothing anymore except by those of us who work hard every day for the God it was founded under.

In the beginning, before there was the Word. Where does that lead you? It leads you to the truth and when you want to go to the truth, you must go to the source.
When you keep digging for the truth, it leads you down a rabbit hole until you find yourself searching for more. When you do, you become lost and misguided, then your stuck because you cannot find your way out. That is not because you do not know you way out, because you do and that is your choice.

We can easily be led to that "rabbit hole" but it is how we find our way out of it, is guidance and knowing out to find it, is wisdom.

Your Choice is your own and wherever it leads you is up to you.

Infection rate in Mexico and Central America is way lower than the US. They would be putting themselves at greater risk if entering illegally

Look at it this way.

We have a leader who wants a Government to walk and chew gum at the same time.

Whether he can succeed or not, at least he's honest about his goals.

@MistyCee The government doesn’t so much chew gum as it steps in it and gets into many quagmires. As for the balance, deal w/ Americans and COVID -19 and try and get a good handle on it/then deal with more people entering the country.

@soar2newhighs I get prioritizing, and tbh, I agree with you that Covid should be top priority.

But not even giving lip service to chewing and walking at the same time seems way too much like America First to me.

It's just my opinion, and I'll admit I watched too much West Wing, but it sure seems like we could benefit from having an administration professionally and publicly working on multiple issues that impact the public instead of what we've had for the last few years of amateur micromanagement.

Non issue. Mexico still doesn't have the problems with covid-19 as here. In fact illegal immigration has slowed down and not due to any obstacles made. Rather due to covid-19 itself.

They are scared of coming here! And rightly so! Covid-19 is not something to play around with unlike some uninformed people believe.

@DeWayfarer well if there’s any truth to it, the “caravans” from Central America, not Mexico are reported to be en route to the U.S. but are being stopped at Mexico’s southern border.
