Would you call these people white evangelicals or white supremacists ?

EarthlingWise Best Comment
The best form of syncretism.
They do like to lower and shade their eyes. What's in there? Not much honesty, not much empathy, not much sense. Just self-righteousness.

@SpiritualMan 'It was a small number that caused the mayhem.'

No it wasn't ...... we all saw the pictures.

How can you worship a middle Eastern man and hate all things that aren't white all at once? Make it make sense
Ryannnnnn · 31-35, M

I call them DOMESTIC TERRORISTS.

Label them for who they are. This country is littered with insecure - small minded - white men who need to crawl back under their rocks. And before anyone calls me racist (LOL) show me another race in that picture. Show me a statistic that proves any other race or gender that has caused more death and destruction in America. They have treated this country as their personal urinal.

@peskyone All Americans are guaranteed certain rights and liberties. I looked it up and there isnt anywhere among those that they get to infringe on the rights and liberties of other Americans. Charging the Capitol and killing one policeman doing his duty was PRECISELY the same as flying an aircraft into the Pentagon. And should be punished as such.😷
I'd call them domestic terrorists

They are both.. Being subject to the myth of America. Of the pioneers, the land of opportunity, progress and wealth. And all of it white and their destiny under god.
These are the people that bought the myth that made Trump President, and the problem is they have not learned a thing out of this.
And because of that failure to learn their fall will be harder and the future of their children dimmer. The world is moving on, and it will leave them behind.😷
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@whowasthatmaskedman It's probably Trump's greatest achievement , by accident or design, that he has made them almost indistinguishable. The tragedy for the rest of us is that this toxic stew now appears to have a real hold on political life in the most powerful country in the world.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@RodionRomanovitch I agree. Until the last sentence. America is no longer the most powerful nation on Earth. It was losing ground since the turn of the century. But Trump finished the job by exposing the charade. America no longer imposes its will on the world, and now it is on the point of being unable to control affairs at home.😷

They clutch that cross in a symbol of power. At the point Jesus was nailed to one, he cried out for forgiveness. I see nothing of His humility, submission or true power in this disgusting display. For me, this is blasphemy.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
Imagine literally carrying a cross without a shred of irony. Amazing.
The “Christian Knights of the Ku Klux Klan” traditionally managed to be both without seeing any incongruity. They burned crosses, churches and live human beings, thinking it was “God’s work”.

Cool. Looks like they got that cross on special cross day sale at Restoration Hardware.

I'd call them not very educated
Graylight · 51-55, F
Typically one in the same.
eMortal · M
They're not white supremacists anymore. They like people of color who join their cause. It's now a cult. DT is the leader.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
Literally never heard the term 'white evangelical' before so it sounds like political correctness gone mad.
spjennifer · 56-60, T
Hard to tell, till they plant it on someone's lawn and set fire to it!
Kind of hard to know from that photo.
wexxxxcccc · M
I would not call them either but I would definitely call you a racist you @sshole. Go back to Russia and turn it into a communist country again. You would propably like that. Ehich university brain washed you into this coommunist thinking anyway
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@wexxxxcccc But the cross ..... what's all that about then ?
openwater · 46-50, M
Many styles of christianity, including the derivative version... catholicism. Not sure which one these might be, but cults only last until the spacecraft comes for them.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@openwater Derivative of what? Literally the first Christian religion.
Frank52 · 70-79, M
@Graylight I think the Orthodox Churches and what became Roman Catholicism were the first of what we would recognise as organised churches. What came before them was much looser. The Roman Church came from a schism and it's been going on ever since. The American evangelical right is a splinter of several other splinters.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Frank52 Very true and more nuanced. I'm just always amazed when someone from the Living Rock Church of Deerfield Ave. in the downtown historic district begins lecturing on world religions millennia old.
Ryannnnnn · 31-35, M
The guy in the shades looks like someones goober dad who's just trying to find the garden centre.

Who gives damn?
