Trump impeached for second time - 10 republicans crossed over to vote for impeachment - thoughts?

Donald Trump now holds the record for not only being impeached more than anyone in history, but he doubled the amount of representatives from his own party to vote for his impeachment. Previously 5 Democrats voted to impeach Bill Clinton, Trump managed to double that number and have 10 Republicans vote to get rid of him.

Pretty shocking. I did not expect 10 Republicans to vote in favor

@SW-User That was a good thing. This was the most bipartisan impeachment vote in US history, including Trump's first, and Clinton's and Andrew Johnson's.

@windinhishair That's a bogus. libelous charge against Jordan. You should retract or face consequences.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Strictgram You support his activities at Ohio State? Very sad.
@Strictgram He went easy on Gym Jordan, I actually think Jordan is most likely a pedophile himself.

@windinhishair Jordan was a wrestling coach. Any other rumors are unproven libel. Exactly what was Jordan convicted of?
Strictgram · 70-79, C
@independentone Bogus libel.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Strictgram And as wrestling coach he was clearly aware of the sexual abuse going on inside the wrestling program. More than a few of the abused have said they talked to him directly. It is typical hypocritical behavior of Jordan, the worst of the worst in the House along with Matt Gaetz, Louie Gohmert, and Devin Nunes. I would not be surprised if he participated in the abuse. He's that kind of man.

@windinhishair I'd say the worst in the House are Pelosi, Schiff and Nadler. Of course AOC and her fellow travelers are beyond compare. You can't support her agenda. Few are that stupid.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Strictgram You'd be wrong, of course, as usual, about the Democratic leadership, that is working for the benefit of the nation, not the benefit of a wannabe dictator instead of the nation. AOC isn't party leadership, so she's just one of many voices.

@windinhishair You like to criticize lying start with Schifty. I'm still waiting to see the evidence he has on Russian collusion. And he never met the whistleblower right? His nose grows longer every day.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Strictgram You didn't bother to read the Mueller Report, did you? Why is that not surprising in the least?

The Republicans that helped the insurrectionists in the Capitol should be expelled from Congress. And then charged with sedition. Particularly the woman congresswoman who tweeted Pelosi's whereabouts to the other traitors. She put people's lives in danger.
Strictgram · 70-79, C
@windinhishair Trump was exonerated by Muller of any collusion. If you say that's not so then why didn't dems impeach him for that?
Capitol violence was minor compared to the looting and burning and shooting that took place all summer and leftists happily and silently overlooked. All of a sudden you're pro police and pro law and order. A little consistency would be good.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Strictgram You obviously didn't read it, because he was NOT exonerated. In fact, Mueller specifically said that he could NOT exonerate the president. But people like you enjoy pretending that he didn't say what he said, even when it is there in black and white. It is so much easier to listen to Limbaugh and Hannity tell you what you believe than to read it yourself, or, heaven forbid, think for yourself.

You are delusional about the Capitol insurrection, which was orders of magnitude worse than any protest we saw this summer. And talk about pro law and order? Insurrectionists and traitors killed a policeman and assaulted many more, far more than any protest this past summer. But again, it doesn't fit your narrative, so you overlook the assault on democracy. Yes, a little consistency would be good, but we'll never see it from you.

What do you think about a president who has completely stopped being president, and is sitting around in his underwear in the White House in a psychotic state drawing up lists of enemies to enact revenge against? Don't you find his severe ongoing mental illness concerning, or does it remain simply to you a desirable feature of his single failed term of office? At least he had the My Pillow guy come in today to try to talk him into declaring martial law. Maybe he left a pillow so the president can rest instead of ranting all night in a white rage of blind hatred?
