How do you de-radicalize people who are stupid enough to believe what Trump tells them ?

Well, you don't do it by arrogantly calling them stupid and judging their core values and beliefs.

@PrivateHell I disagree. Their core values and beliefs are in play because they've been shouting them from the hilltops for the last 5 years. They love God and the Bible and family and white and America and greed. Now that they're crying 'professional' and 'passionate' and 'Christian,' it rings hollow. They put that ball into play - they shouldn't duck when it's served back at them.

@PrivateHell Their core value and beliefs? Hate? Hate? More hate? Why would I want to sugarcoat this, ever?
kodiac · 22-25, M
@Northwest Of course just keep it going

So you want to tell them what they did is OK? How's that going to change anything at all? In AA, the first thing people do, is acknowledge they're alcoholic, and make amends.

@Northwest Why do you care what anyone else does? Worry about your own stuff and go on with life ,Everyone screams for an orderly transition but no one is working towards it on either side .Impeach trump! Why he will be gone on a few days!

So, you want to live in a society where someone can show up at your door, kills your family and steals everything you have, and expect society to say "why do you care what anyone else does? The guy is already gone".
@Northwest i don't hate you or anyone. So you are projecting.

The difference between us is, i disagree with your views, but still believe you have a right to them, and i don't attempt to judge your intelligence or morality based upon them without knowing all the facts of why you feel as you do.

And of course, this is a strawman. There is no such thing as having a set of beliefs that should be universally acknowledged. Perhaps you keep your "Camp Auschwitz" sweatshirt tucked away at home, but others don't.
@Graylight i'm sorry, but this is an example of a pattern that has seriously irritated me for well over a decade now (before Trump ever ran). Yes, you and I disagree on issues. But that in no way gives anyone the right to define me, or tell me what i believe or who I am as a person.
@Northwest as I told Graylight, you do not define me. You are not in control of what i think, feel or believe. And since you know nothing about who i am as a person or where i am coming from, you are nor qualified to make such decisions.

I would point out here (not that it will matter) that i have not attacked you or your character once. I have attempted to remain civil and have a discussion. Your "Camp Auschwitz" comment shows me this is futile. It was juvenile, offensive and out of line. Amazing how quickly you adopt the very behavior you claim to see and dislike in your opposition.

Have a great evening.

Another strawman, as I neither know who you are, nor do I care.

That's wonderful.

Perhaps you should consider the possibility that everything is NOT about you. It might help you comprehend what I said.

Have a great evening.

It's mid afternoon here.

@Northwest blm did all those things justify that

blm did all those things justify that

A few points:

1. You probably think whaaboutism is a valid response. It's not.

2. Strawman. BLM did not advocate violence.

3. There was violence at some of the BLM started protests but 93% of them were peaceful marches/protests. When violence occurred, it was started by fringe elements.

Now, this is a personal attack on me, perhaps I should report you.

When you resort to personal attacks, you lost the argument.
kodiac · 22-25, M
@Northwest Perhaps i should report you for your personal attack on privatehell? Don't bother I'm done feeding the trolls. Also do you have to repost every comment can't you keep up dude!

Which would be a lie. I did not attack privathell.

Don't bother I'm done feeding the trolls.

Sounds like another attack on me.

@Northwest So the sweatshirt comment was just friendly banter? You can report me all you want a warning for calling you out will be a badge of honor

So the sweatshirt comment was just friendly banter?

Looks like you didn't understand it. A failure of our educational system perhaps? If you're American educated that is.

You can report me all you want a warning for calling you out will be a badge of honor

Calling me for what?
@kodiac i want to thank you for the attempt, but it's a waste of time and energy. Choose your battles.

I refuse to engage and get down on their level anymore. It's not worth trying to discuss anything with someone who resorts to personal attacks and generalities.

Perhaps you can point out the people doing that? And by that I mean other than your buddy.
@PrivateHell What are their “core values and beliefs” ? It sure doesn’t seem to override their nationalism and racism.

The party of “family values” recently had a president who had a loving family where he was kind to his wife and two daughters. Even if they didn’t agree with the president’s policies, based upon their “core values” they should’ve at least respected that. Instead, they made up slanderous, gossipy lies about the man being gay and the wife being a man ! So-called “Christian” people !

So yeah, besides hatred, what are those core values now, because I’d love to know ? And apparently terrorism and lynchings aren’t off the table now, either—people showed up at the Capitol building last Wed with zip ties. 😞
