As for the question, the answer is quite obvious. The White House is occupied by a guy who not only doesn't mind seeing dead police, but isn't even all that concerned about the death of his own soldiers.

Good question, and why hasn't the law & order President not said anything about the officer who was killed after his head was bashed by a fire extinguisher, at the hands of terrorists.

If you mean flying the flag at half-staff for the attempted subversion of our Democracy, you're barking up the wrong tree, that would never happen as long as tRump is President. As for the Police Officer/veteran, while tragic, the flag doesn't get flown at half-staff because one of us died, otherwise it would never be fully flown, sadly, that is something implicitly understood by any PO or veteran, it's not disrespectful.

For the same reason the flag isn't at half staff for the veterans who commit suicide everyday. The government doesn't care about us. We are just pawns.
