as a "not a republican or democrat" I love to observe
back in the 90s a lot of democrats left the democratic party and became republicans
the tenor of the republic party changed a bit
so now that the republican party is identifed so closely with DJT it isn't a surprise that people may become democrats or independent.
it'll be interesting to watch

Good for Senator Murkowski. Indeed, who would want to be aligned with the party of insurrection that detests America and wants to overthrow democracy?

@tring2222 She has always been one of the few more moderate/less rabid Republicans in the Senate.

@windinhishair Yes, and they should listen to her, she has the best interest of the Republican party in mind.

@tring2222 I believe she does, even if I don't share her political views.

Isn't a bit too convenient leaving the ship now? Until the day before yesterday they were fine with everything Trump said and did. And don't tell me that the red flags (literally, in particular with swastikas) weren't there

It's an encouraging sign, but it's too little too late. Supporting censure and expulsion of Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz, and Mo Brooks would be a better start.

@MarkPaul All three have blood on their hands.

She is the worst. I call on her to resign.

Sensible in the final hour. For her survival.
Not impressed.
