Who will be Senate Majority Leader?

If Ossoff prevails in defeating Perdue, and since Bernie is an independent, Will McConnell still be Majority leader? Count would be Republicans 50 Dems 49 and independents 1.

Independent only in name. Bernie (and isn't Angus King supposed to be Independent) will caucus and vote with the dims.
@eli1601 Thanks, I guess that makes sense, but not really, why bother calling yourself independent if you have to choose a party to caucus with? In this case, it seems the Republicans should still maintain the majority with 50 declared Republicans, against 48 declared Democrats with I guess, 2 Independents.

It doesn't really matter, I'm just looking at numbers and trying to make sense of what is happening.

@independentone I think they caucus just to get committee assignments and specifically with the dems because their beliefs are pretty much the same. Not sure why they call themselves independent. After all, Bernie ran for President as a dim.
