@independentone I doubt any Republican will challenge Mitch, so he will most likely be minority leader. The problem with working together is the different ideas for what constitutes the betterment of the country.

@eli1601 The two sides will always disagree, that is where compromise comes in. No one side gets everything they want, both have to give up something to get something. I know that is how it worked when Rayburn and Tip O'Neill were speakers of the house. It just doesn't seem to be that way any longer, and it's the American people who suffer for the lack of compromise.
