Why do some people dislike Joe ?

@TinyViolins that doesn’t make sense. just because he works with people of color, it doesn’t mean shit. he can have the most diverse cabinet, it still doesn’t matter. people have kids with people of a different race, and they can still be racist. it’s good that he’s diversifying these positions but it’s only to make himself look better. people of color are used to appeal to the public. not only in politics but in college catalogs, clothing brands, etc.

@SW-User He already won the presidency, he doesn't need to make himself look better. He can pick a cabinet full of straight, white men and could still use Obama, Harris, or Sen. Clyburn to deflect accusations of racism. You're assuming his intent based on whatever dislike you have of him, just like the conservatives accusing him of being a far-left Marxist. It's pure dismissive speculation intended to feed some underlying cynicism. It's not rooted in fact

@TinyViolins let’s say if this is true. him picking black and POCs to work with him, how does that make him less racist? it’s like saying “i hired a black man to work at my company so i can’t be racist.” you can still be anti-black and anti-people of color. you sir, don’t make any sense.

@SW-User He didn't hire them for any old job. He hired them to hold critical leadership roles at the highest level of government. He didn't announce any cabinet picks prior to his election, so he didn't pick them to pander to anyone. You're trying to find racism where it doesn't exist. You haven't cited anything that makes him out to be racist, anti-black, or anti-POC. You're just declaring that he's racist without any evidence
