If public high school history teachers made it an extra credit assessment for high school Junior and Senior students to register to vote in class.

Should public high school teachers be allowed to register high schoolers turning 18 to vote.

A radical suggestion: Let the teachers spend some time teaching.

I registered to vote in high school; I don't know that it was done in class but we had the opportunity and access to voter registration forms there.

I'm not sure why some Republicans think that the only way they can win is if fewer people vote.
I think the age to vote should be lowered to 16. We fought a war over taxation without representation and 16 is old enough to pay taxes.

Our school did do this but it was our guidance counselors in our senior year.

I was 17 when I graduated, so extra credit wouldn’t have been fair.

I like how you think....
Why would it?
