How does Trump win the election?

I’m genuinely curious. What is the mechanism where he wins another term and is sworn in on January 20? I’m interested in Trump supporters explaining how he will accomplish this. I keep hearing people say it’s not over yet but I’m not clear on the specific steps.

A judge Trump appointed just dismissed Rep. Louie Gohmert’s suit against Mike Pence, which sought to force him to declare the votes of several states invalid. The suit was dismissed for lack of standing.

@Lila15 LOL, as usual, never rule on the merits of a case, just dodge any responsibility for making a decision based on the merits of the case. Typical gutless politician

@sunsporter1649
Article III standing requires a plaintiff to show: (1) that he “has suffered an ‘injury in fact’ that is (a) concrete and particularized and (b) actual or imminent, not conjectural or hypothetical”; (2) that “the injury is fairly traceable to the challenged action of the defendant”; and (3) that “it is likely, as opposed to merely speculative, that the injury will be redressed by a favorable decision.”

Oh no, what an incredible burden.

And you didn't read the opinion. The judge nuked these guys from orbit. Btw - like the others, this was not a voter fraud case, so your various conspiracy theories aren't even applicable.
@sunsporter1649 Sorry man but you look silly when you don't even understand the concept of legal standing.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Yep. Or even considered why the entire concept of standing is important to the administration of justice. That's more than a few levels above our dim friend's pay grade.

@sunsporter1649 Of course, let's just ignore the Law, just because it's DuhDonald, he never follows the Laws anyway, because he believes he's above the Law or that Laws only apply when they're in his favour.
Lila15 · 22-25, F
@sunsporter1649 Gohmert sued Pence based on hypothetical future damages. That would be like me suing him on the grounds that he might hit me with his car next week. The judge was correct to toss it.
@Lila15
Gohmert, isn’t he the guy who got Covid last summer?
Not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed.
OggggO · 36-40, M
@Lila15 Actually, given that the aim of the suit was to increase Pence's power, it would be like you suing him for negative money because he might get hit by someone else's car next week.
@OggggO
Seems to me that Gohmert was trying to punk Pence out. Might be why Pence opposed it.
Lila15 · 22-25, F
@OggggO The judge pointed out that if anyone had harmed Gohmert, it was AZ governor Doug Ducey (for certifying the Biden electors) but Ducey was not named as a defendant.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@Lila15 And of course the "judge" ducked out on ruling on the merits of the case, which is to be expected
OggggO · 36-40, M
@sunsporter1649 You keep claiming that, but you clearly don't understand the legal system.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@OggggO I clearly understand gutless "judges" dancing on whoever is pulling their strings
@sunsporter1649 The case had no merits. But to you, any case against Biden is automatically valid. Fortunately, you’re not a judge.

@sunsporter1649
I clearly understand [...]

When did that started? 🤣
OggggO · 36-40, M
@sunsporter1649 No, you invent scenarios whole cloth in your head. The judges make the correct legal ruling, in this case a lack of standing means that a case cannot proceed further than that determination, but go on to destroy the claims of the case in their opinions, which you completely ignore so you can continue to claim these cases have merits which are being ignored.

@sunsporter1649 There are no merits to that case. It's an extraordinarily spurious lawsuit - that doesn't allege any fraud, btw.

Read the opinion, it's quite detailed, and a doozy.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@OggggO And we all know "judges" are infallible, like the Pope
@QuixoticSoul The Texas case was even more ridiculous. It is like they are basically trolling the entire legal field.
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 Do you think Trump is infallible Sporter?
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@Kwek00 Do you think moneybags joe is infallible?
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 No, I don't Sporter. It's pretty amazing you have to bring someone else into this again. But I'm seriously curious if Trump is infallible in your mind Sporter?
@sunsporter1649 Funny you should bring that up since you want to give legal infallibility to Trump regardless of the actual law.
@sunsporter1649 Dude, we don’t worship Biden the way you worship Trump. The proof is that I can name things Biden has done that I disapprove of, while you can’t name a single thing Trump has done that you disapprove of.
