How does Trump win the election?

I’m genuinely curious. What is the mechanism where he wins another term and is sworn in on January 20? I’m interested in Trump supporters explaining how he will accomplish this. I keep hearing people say it’s not over yet but I’m not clear on the specific steps.

Look! Trump won by a freaking record braking landslide! He will not move out! He will serve another term! There is absolutely no doubt!

@Oster1 Then why did Trump allow the Biden transition to move forward? He’s even released the rooms at the Trump International that were reserved for his inauguration.

@Oster1 lol, scream that at the top of your lungs at the White House gates when the Secret Service carts his fat ass out the door and onto the sidewalk outside the gates on the 20th of January. Buh Bye one and done loser DuhDonald 🙃

@Oster1 Hmmm, not so sanguine now are we?😊 Also, I know you’re just an agitator 😎

@Lila15 Good question. This tit-for-tat maneuvering by opposing teams is similar to moves in chess. Using chess as an analogy:

That's Trump's Rook takes Knight, baiting Biden's Queen to proceed closer to Trump's King. Biden's fear and hesitancy is in the air and palpable. Next should be Trump's Queen moves to guard Biden's flank as Pence (President of the Senate) implements discretion to exclude three of Biden's questionable battleground state's votes (on Jan. 6). Biden's electoral votes drop below 270.

Biden's Bishop ineffectively attempts to dislodge Trump's threatening Queen with a call to a bi-partisan vote against procedure on the floor, to no avail as partisanship is strong. Trump's Rook then moves to guard Biden's back row as no candidate achieves 270 electoral votes. The election therefore goes to the House of Representatives for disposition.

The final play is academic. Trump's Queen and Rook, having effectively blocked Biden's clear path to victory, have simultaneously blocked his King. Biden, having made too many rookie errors throughout the game - panics (sensing the end is near), makes a distracting move of a useless pawn that doesn't protect his King.

Trump's Rook, protected by his Queen, takes Biden's remaining Bishop (exposing his King) as state legislatures decide 30 GOP votes to 20 Dem votes. Checkmate, Trump is re-elected. The Fat Lady Sings.

@PatKirby A more apt analogy would be that Biden has a rook parked on Rank 4 and Trump keeps double advancing his pawns one at a time.

as no candidate achieves 270 electoral votes. The election therefore goes to the House of Representatives for disposition.

Wrong. 270 is the number only because it's 50%+1 of the number of ballots cast. Remove ballots and that number drops. Remove say, PA, MI, and GA; the three biggest states the GOP is trying to bullshit about, and the winning number becomes 244. But Biden will still have 254, so he still wins.

@Uachtarain He's a David Icke fan. 🤷‍♀️

@PatKirby https://www.archives.gov/founding-docs/amendments-11-27#xii
The person having the greatest number of votes for President, shall be the President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed

Remove electors and the number needed for a majority goes down as well.

@PatKirby It's not immutable, and this is not goal post moving. If you want to use words, make sure you understand them.

@PatKirby Then you should have no trouble showing me where in the law or Constitution it says "270".

Annnnd he blocked me. No surprise there.

@PatKirby That's right.

Annnnd he blocked me. No surprise there.

That's becoming the pattern it seems. Can't actually give a reasoned response so an emotional and personal outburst substitutes.

@Frank52 Could you tell me what his last message to me was? Mildly annoying when people reply before blocking since it makes it impossible to read the reply.
