@DeWayfarer Problem is 75% of the money donated to the legal fund, is diverted to his campaign debt. A donor is suing to have $2.5M returned.

$2.6M made it to St Jude's, but the fundraisers were held at Trump Organization Golf courses. They claimed that the Golf Courses services were donated for free, but it turns out that this was a lie, AND on top of getting paid out of the proceeds, they claimed a tax credit for donating the services.
This is one of those fraud cases that a Presidential pardon will not cover.
