186,000 new Covid infections in the US in the last 24 hours

Source: Johns Hopkins U
2000 deaths in the last 24 hours

That number continues to climb and overwhelm medical staff.

Practicing social isolation reduces Covid transmission.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout students are being encouraged to get tested again before they go home for Thanksgiving so the false positives, which are many, will increase once again.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout the 2nd wave was predicted long before the US elections. It’s a global phenomenon.
justanothername · 51-55, M
@cherokeepatti testing and contact tracing and isolating. The only way to stop Covid.
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout it didn't decline here, and we're on our 3rd wave
@cherokeepatti they should just stop testing ey..

Notice they never mention the death rate.. just positive tests.. that pick up the flu and it’s called covid.. 😑

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout I have a friend on Twitter who lives a couple miles from me. She told me tonight that there was a local news story at the nursing home where her mother died this year. One family member being interviewed said if relative spoke up about their loved ones treatment and the conditions that their loved one would get treated worse in the nursing home. She also told me that she thought her mother was starved to death. It’s not Covid killing these old folks, it’s malpractice, downright murder to starve them.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Testing is no guarantee against Covid. It just tells you that you whether you have it or not but it won’t stop you getting it.
@cherokeepatti the elderly tend to vote conservative too..

Coumo knew what he was doing..
@justanothername imagine a virus so deadly.. you got to be tested to even know you got it.. wow.

This is no argument..

If things were as bad as you believe. I’d be stepping over bodies in the street

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout If you lived in New York you would be close to that now.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout This was in Oklahoma, there’s one nursing home that had about 20 patients die of what they said was Covid. Get in em there for a medical reason, don’t let their families visit or check on them, and then starve them to death. Also have another friend who’s father had heart problems and went into long-term care & died. She believed it was the way he was treated that contributed to his death. He was in Florida. And an Iranian lady who is a doctor, her father was in a nursing home for a medical condition & she got him out of there after 5 months & he looked horrible. within a few days he had gotten a lot better, I think she was feeding him good.

@justanothername Funny how so many have tested positive and show no symptoms at all. Some people have gotten tested 4 times on the same day, 2 positive test results and 2 negative test results. How does that happen?
justanothername · 51-55, M
@cherokeepatti some people are asymptomatic and don’t show symptoms others show moderate symptoms. To summarize, Covid is a very tricky fucker which is why it spreads so quickly.

Go visit a hospital ICU and report back.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@justanothername funny how doctors have said they only test patients for diseases after they show symptoms but all of sudden the CDC is wanting to test people whether they are showing symptoms or not.
justanothername · 51-55, M
@cherokeepatti There’s no consistent testing regime between countries. So do a great job, others not so much.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@justanothername testing “regime”...clever

justanothername · 51-55, M
@cherokeepatti testing regime, testing process call it what ever you want. Not all countries do it well and consistently. The contact tracing is the key ingredient.
justanothername · 51-55, M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout incorrect as usual. You should stay at home or self isolated until there are no more cases of Covid infections and no new community cases of Covid transmission.

Viruses will always be with us. They will never be eradicated!@justanothername

[@cherokeepatty]👍🤗🌺
justanothername · 51-55, M
@Oster1 Eradicated, no, prevented through vaccines and good personal sanitizer, Yes.

@justanothername Please, you are so boorish! Study Biology and then get back to me. Not to be mean but you are so sure of yourself!😊
justanothername · 51-55, M
@Oster1 I did. It’s easier to prevent a viral pathogen with a vaccination than it is to eradicate one.
Oster1 · M
@justanothername Perhaps, but to have an effective vaccine to target a specific virus, on time, without detrimental aduvants is near impossible!😊
