Hi friends
Adam Calhoun 2024 because he gets it!
https://youtu.be/6FO8TfsY6yg
Can we actually make this happen?
RedBaron · M
Huh? You mean Adam Calhoun the singer? You must be high.
Ozuye502 · 36-40, M
@RedBaron I didn’t say it does but I’m saying it’s not a bad idea given the absolute trash of choices we have had in the past id say close to 20+ years he would be a reasonable choice and better than the trash we had to choose from in the better part of 20 years. Because let’s be honest here... our choices sucked

@Ozuye502 But it's highly questionable that he even has the interest and desire to run, much less the money, political skills, and connections to be a serious contender for either the Democratic or Republican nomination. The whole idea is quite far-fetched and off-the-wall.
Ozuye502 · 36-40, M
@RedBaron that is true I’m sure his past and current connections or lack of would hold him back so yea it’s far fetched he does have shirts and stuff saying 2024 but hey it’s his ideas I like.

That retard? No.
Ozuye502 · 36-40, M
@QuixoticSoul eh well according to you anyone who has even the slightest conservative view point is a “retard” so I don’t think your opinion is that valuable or valid
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@Ozuye502 No, there are tons of intelligent conservatives - it’s not so long ago that the conservative movement was dominated by right wing intellectuals, instead of lowest-denominator attuned media personalities.

But then Buckley died and the kooks and bigots he spent years chasing out crawled back in.

I miss actual conservatives. They were educated, sharp, principled, and elitist - but also elite. I didn’t always agree with them but I respected that crowd. Now you just get these mongs that are loud and aggressively stupid, with no depth or intellectual rigor.

@QuixoticSoul The intelligent conservative politician really died before Buckley. GHW Bush might have been the last of the breed. Eisenhower, Nelson Rockefeller, Charles Percy - there was a great tradition of thoughtful conservatism. I blame Reagan for the start of this spiral that has continued to this day.
