@SW-User It's up to the individual states to set rules for electors, including remedies and punishments for faithless electors.

@OggggO so in theory they could arrive announce Trump is elected on a landslide then he gives them a pardon and its all sorted Supreme Court will dismiss any appeal as they are loaded for Trump....

@SW-User Not quite. Presidential pardon powers only apply to federal laws, and the Supreme Court can only take on cases that make their way up the appeal chain.
