depends on what KIND of power!
I like local control for local issues, but many issues are bigger than my locale.
the the fed hadle parks and defense and most international things, and to support the real infrastructure of the nation, protect the nation form big money power defend natural resources not sell them
Locals should decide what kind of place they want to live in, life style and pace,
