Are there certain members you won't talk to about politics?

I just told my mom I dont like either of our candidates and it almost turned into a full blown argument. She's heated I don't like her candidate.

Like I'm allowed to have my opinion.

I don't talk to older family members about it because they're batshit insane. I'll argue with my aunt and uncle about it though, because while I know I can't possible convince them, I could influence their kids to question their opinions moving forward.
