Are there certain members you won't talk to about politics?

I just told my mom I dont like either of our candidates and it almost turned into a full blown argument. She's heated I don't like her candidate.

Like I'm allowed to have my opinion.

You are indeed. Don't let people bully you into buying their narrative. They are free to feel how they feel, as are you. You don't have to pick a side if you think that both sides are shit. Sometimes you do have to pick between the lesser of two evils when the result will have major consequences for you, but the fact is that for many in the middle classes the difference between choice A and choice B makes little difference. Life goes on much the same either way.
