Some of this is just poor planning, but many states with Republican governments will make it as difficult as possible for minorities to vote, believing that many of those people will vote Democratic. Long lines in those locations is deliberately planned for as a tactic to depress the vote, hoping many people will give up when they see the long queues.

@windinhishair yea I think you got republicans and democrats confused
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Ozuye502 Not likely since Republicans are the party of voter suppression and vote nullification.

You should change your name to wind in his head lol
Ozuye502 · 36-40, M
@windinhishair yea because democrats let the dead and non citizens/residents vote
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Ozuye502 You've been listening to too much Russian propaganda, comrade. There is no widespread voter fraud in the US.
Ozuye502 · 36-40, M
@windinhishair if you don’t see that both sides suck and are absolutely frauds there’s no hope for you. Then why did my grandfather get a mail in ballot when he passed back in 2008?
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Ozuye502 Did your grandfather vote after passing in 2008? If not, no voter fraud occurred.

@windinhishair But I live in New York, which is as blue as it gets, and we had lines around the block.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@RedBaron That's true. Many polling places in New York had hours long waits to vote.
