There is a tendency to call trumpers a cult.....I do it myself. But that's incorrect. To lead a cult one has to have intelligence...charisma....a personality. All things trump lacks.....glaringly. More correctly this is a whole subculture of really poorly informed people who hate themselves...their lives...everything that they themselves are and trump came along to blame openly the same people they want to blame for their own sad lives. So the Mexicans stole their jobs......and the Muslim are taking away our religion...and the gays are stealing marriage.....and the blacks get all the breaks.....and the kids in cages? They have it coming. Oh.....and the Jews took all of the money. So what's left in their sad lives? The hope trump can kill the Jews and put the blacks back into chains and the gays can be punished, and then finally.....finally...they can all be millionaires.........because all along it was someone else's fault that their lives suck.

That gullibility and denial and lack of education and willingness to believe that Donnie is their true Lord and Savior ...... is why we're where we are. In 18 days Trump will be flushed away to the sewer he came from....and belongs back in..........but the damage to America is----the cult worship of a con artist. @LeopoldBloom Good post! And yeah exactly. Frankly I'd prefer if a different word was used than debt/deficit even though they're basic accounting terms because you get this political haze that covers it.

@CountScrofula Muccigrosso really does his research. It's a complicated topic. Most people don't go much further than "if you can't run your household on a deficit forever, why does anyone think the government can?"
