Is personal behavior and integrity important in selecting a POTUS? Why or Why Not?

Like my last question, looking for an honest answer and not a debate or argument.

Both are absolutely important to me. I know even entry level jobs demand these basic qualities, so why we ever thought the POTUS don't need need these qualities is beyond my understanding.
