Is personal behavior and integrity important in selecting a POTUS? Why or Why Not?

Like my last question, looking for an honest answer and not a debate or argument.

I think many of Trump’s supporters would put those qualities low down the list of their priorities in selecting a POTUS if they’re honest. I think they value other things much more highly, that appears self evident to me.

@TopOfTheWorld I might disagree...I think they believe it's not true, so they avoid that moral ambiguity quite nicely

@ozgirl512 sometimes I see people here comment along the lines of “I know he’s not perfect but who is?” as a way of excusing his behaviour.
