Being English I don’t understand why you don’t have young presidents 😀

So technically we could. But so far we just haven’t, really.
Our youngest presidents were:
1 Theodore Roosevelt 42
2. John F. Kennedy 43
3. Bill Clinton 46
4. Ulysses S. Grant 46
5. Barack Obama 47
6. Grover Cleveland 47
7. Franklin Pierce 48
8. James Garfield 49
9. James K. Polk 49
10. Millard Fillmore 50
As directed by the Constitution, a presidential candidate must be a natural born citizen of the United States, a resident for 14 years, and 35 years of age or older.
