@Piper I do the same. But, as we know, my mask wont protect me from the many folks who ignore my health. But I will continue to do my part to protect them.

@Carla Yes, we and most others still in full possession of their brain function do know that...I think. The herd mentality is so strong though, that many seem to have lost touch with that "humane" part of their humanity.

Not that that is anything new, by any stretch. It just seems so much more evident these past months, in various ways.

@Piper I've lived much of my life thinking the best of people in general. I reckon I just never looked close enough. I knew, of course, there were folks out there that we callous, greedy and self absorbed. I just never thought there could be so very many.

@Carla I do still think more people than not, are not especially "bad". Like you though, I've learned there are more of those who are shockingly callous and self-absorbed than I'd thought. People that I've known personally, not just attitudes displayed towards this current pandemic.
