What percentage of African heritage do you have to be for this to apply?
About 7% for me according to 23 and me.

@QuixoticSoul Was more joking than anything, but I鈥檇 have to get a DNA test done to find out how much. I believe my mom has a fair amount.

@travelguy01 DNA test won't matter - but an actual genealogy might. You need to be descended from someone on the Dawes Rolls.
