They also don’t realize that saying there’s no difference between nationalists and neo nazis isn’t saying much as actual Nazis started off as an ultra nationalist group. Essentially the proud boys are 1 step from falling into their footsteps. Do they think that Nazis started immediately gassing people? No they did exactly what the Proud Boys are doing first. They said they were trying to protect national security. Also, to say they’re not racist they have people of other races in their group also isn’t a good argument. There were people of Jewish descent amongst the ultra nationalists in Germany before they became full blown nazis. You had Nazis hiding their backgrounds in order to not be seen as the enemy.
