Seems like the patriotic thing to do. There's only 5 weeks until the November election and the average Supreme Court nomination takes double that, about 70ish days. It feels like we're completely forgoing due diligence in what is very apparently a power move. Nearly a quarter of all voters say that the Supreme Court is one of their most important reasons for voting, and Republicans in the Senate are proving that they don't care about the will of the American people at all and are trying to hamfist this nomination to hedge their bets against a loss. The overwhelming majority of them said that 10 months was too short of a timeframe to pick a Supreme Court Justice back in 2016, but a mere 4 years later and now doing so in under 5 weeks is totally okay. It's pure hypocrisy.

Let's just apply fair standards across the board and let the people exercise their democracy by giving them a voice in the matter. The tyranny of a few doesn't seem like the way our Founding Fathers intended this country and its government to be run
