New Covid-19 rules announced by UK Prime Minister

[b][b]12:30 BST Prime Minister addresses Parliament[/b][/b]

1. From Thursday Pubs to have 'Table service' only
2. Pubs to close at 10 PM
3. Take-Aways to close at 10 PM
4. Retail staff. Hospitality workers and taxi customers required to wear masks immediately.
5. If you are caught without a mask fine of £200 for first offence.
6. More Police Officers on the streets enforcing proper procedures to be backed by the military where necessary.

I support the new measures and some of them have been there all along. I think we are heading for a second lockdown.

@Burnley123 the curfew on pubs and restaurants closing at 10 makes no sense at all, so everyone can mix in them till 10 and pass virus , but at 10 they close so virus does not get passed on, does virus not come out till 10 it's pathetic

@Nyloncapes It makes perfect sense, fella. The night is still young at 10pm! That's when the fun starts and the social distancing starts breaking down! So sad as it is for an Irishman to say, I think these new measures are necessary.

@SW-User this curfew will just mean pubs be more packed before 10, and doesn't this defeat the object of trying to stop the infections going up ,
