@SW-User You need to learn your history and read the Quran. Saracens tormented and subjugated Christians for over 400 years before Pope Urban allowed the first crusade. Christians never bothered anyone until they were decimated by the the Saracen hordes . Then it was the Roman Catholic Church and NOT the Christians who led a battle to defend Christians. The year was 1094, and the Christians in the middle east were nearly wiped out.

@SW-User ... so, let’s get this straight, I would suggest the Pope at the time - Urban II - would initially have said to the Muslims “....please stop killing Christians...” what do YOU think their reply would have been 🤔 ... are you saying that after their reply, Urban left it at that and said “...OK, I tried, I’ll finish off my coffee now and leave you lot to rape, murder and turn Christians into slaves ...”
