Don't confuse communism (derived from Karl Marx ideology, from which Marxism) and globalism. Not only they're not the same thing, but oftentimes communists are de facto anti-globalist and actually isolationist (e.g. NK)

@Elessar Well said. Globalism and Marxism are not the same. Capitalism is often globalist in scope.

@Elessar Marxism was taken over by the Bolsheviks under Stalin, and transmuted into communism. In the United States, the globalists who have wormed their way into our supposedly capitalist Congress are working actively to take over the government in order to initiate a totalitarian regime, which will NOT be for the common good. But they do use all the buzz words.

@SW-User Definitely. And proper Marxism/communism is nowhere near the threshold of political relevance in the "west" (intended as west Europe and north America at the very least). Over here where the electoral system allows for the existence of a huge plethora of parties, all the parties that represent actual communism combined are below the 2.00% according to the latest national elections (2018); let alone in FPTP / dual party countries like the U.K. or the U.S., whose barycentre is also generally more skewed to the right side of the political spectrum (the DNC would probably be classified centre-right here in most of Europe, whereas overseas I notice is usually referred to as "the left").
