wtf?! No, no one should be forced to do anything!
MarineBob · 56-60, M
@Paul82 and then people would cry and call it slavery
Paul82 · 41-45, M
@MarineBob exactly! well it is slavery!
@Paul82 And not wearing a mask is attempted homicide. People shouldn't be punished for it?

Look at it this way if COVID were poison and you deliberately poisoned candy bars in a grocery store, not all the candy bars, only some of them. And there wasn't enough poison to kill everyone who ate the poisoned candy bars, only enough to kill the elderly and people with preexisting medical conditions or who were genetically predisposed to be very sensitive to that poison. You would be charged with a crime (attempted murder)f you were caught doing that before someone died. And if someone died as a result of your poisoning you would be charged with premeditated murder. Not aggravated murder, not manslaughter. Premeditated murder. It would be a capital crime in some sates.

That is the equivalent of what people who don't wear masks are doing. A couple of hours safely digging graves with non-infected people in an area outdoors where they won't get sick and don't have to handle infected bodies is a very light penalty for deliberately trying to fucking kill people.

Absolutely. They’re contributing to the spread, whether they acknowledge it or not. It’s only fair they participate in the logical outcome. 😞

I saw this this morning and I cannot tell you how much I think this is a great idea.
LegendofPeza · 61-69, M
@JaggedLittlePill I wonder if President Shit fer Brains saw it ?
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@LegendofPeza He was busy throwing tantrums on twitter, his usual morning routine for the last week and a half.

Elessar · 26-30, M
@revenant Yeah, and there is the very same guy subtitled in English in other videos as well, anyway. Except, strangely, no reviewed publication by either him or any of the others who support the same hypotheses, guess why.
revenant · F
@Elessar links ?
Elessar · 26-30, M
@revenant lmao, search his name on YT itself, it's not a secret of state. Why people on the internet think I'm their secretary? lol

@RightSaidFred huh? I said the virus came from China. And it did. So no racism. 🤷‍♂️ Nor has anyone said that it came from somewhere else. Wtf🤣. But yeah Trumpie tried to. Use the fact to ignite his base. I don’t think that is as much racism as normal trump trying to divide. You really need to work on your reading comprehension.

Here someone proposed free trips and community work (of course without PPEs, for coherency) in the Covid ICUs. But I guess that'd be fine as well.
They are contributing to the spread so I would say yes.

@SW-User Seriously?
smiler2012 · 61-69
lumpenprole 🤔 interesting idea bit of hard graft and time to think people like them the non mask wearers directly or indirectly could be responsible for the spread of corona virus a risk to themselves and others
Lucia · 36-40
No. People should be free to believe what they want. But if democracy as a whole makes decissions regarding what is necessary to do in certain situations (for instance public transport, supermarkets etc.) then you should not be allowed in, if you do not want to follow the decissions of the democratically elected.
MarineBob · 56-60, M
@Lucia decisions should be made by store owners
Lucia · 36-40
@MarineBob I disagree with that. The reason is we cannot expect store owners to have public health as a core interest. They need to make money to continue existing. Also they are not medical professionals.

If you allow store owners to make that decission, you are also giving them the burden of deciding between more customers or healthier customers. And when in competition you might end up being forced to say "No masks needed" or else someone who is willing to do just that might destroy you in the market place.

I think it is a disservice to the shops to ask that they decide this.

* I am not entirely sure I personally agree that masks are as effective as they are set out to be, so I don't know if it's sane to demand they are worn - I'll leave that to medical professionals to advice the politicians on.

This is an excellent idea.
Graylight · 51-55, F
Yes, and they should also have to offer a eulogy apologizing for their transgressions.

poetic justice!
SubstantialKick · 36-40, M
That sounds like a good punishment.
SW-User
As part of community service for breaking the laws regarding mask wearing, yes :)

To think that men who refused to go and fight in the war were treated as cowards. At least refusing to kill or be killed is refusing a huge ask. Refusing to wear a mask is just refusing to do the smallest thing for your fellow man. People didn't go to war to protect your right to not play your part in a national crisis. I would happily deny any subsidised medical treatment or medical insurance to anti-maskers. I could give a fuck about their bullshit paranoia about governments trying to instigate population control. Absolutely laughable 🙄
