Does it say anything about the 20 or 30 million people who just lost their jobs or just the 1 million that went back to work.

Well, it's about recovery numbers, so it focuses on those having been employed.
The U.S. now has about 13 million fewer jobs than in February, the month before the coronavirus hit the U.S. economy. We recovered 1.8 million in July - a big jump.
But if it's depressing spins on the news you are looking for, I'm sure you can plenty of those in any of the Anti-Trump, anti-America news.

@Budwick Yet Trump, due to his inept handling of Covid, took the unemployment numbers from 3-4% up to 14-15%. Looks like Trump is the one who sucks

@independentone The response to covid included shutting down the economy. Even knowing the economy and employment would suffer - he opted for saving lives. [BTW, Biden said after the fact that he would have done much the same things.] But saving lives is failure in your view? Sick.

@Budwick Yeah, 185,000 lives lost, and you consider that a success? We have roughly 4% of the worlds population yet around 23% of the deaths. Trump is an utter failure as President, and as a human.
