Here are just a few reasons:

Biden was my first choice in the 2020 primaries.

We share similar foreign policy views.

I appreciate his long tenure of government experience which will serve him well in the presidency.

His a liberal Democrat, not a leftist.

He will likely nominate one or two members to the SCOTUS.

He cares more about America than about his own personal power or wealth.

@beckyromero And you believe that, eh?

@beckyromero You honestly think Biden believes anything you believe or are you just projecting on him what you think he stands for? Personally I don't know any of his policies or viewpoints because I can't find any that he has enunciated. The few he has said "Come on man China is not a problem" has been shown to be misguided. China is a big problem and a worthy foe that must be dealt with through non violent means.

Yes, because unlike a casual observer such as yourself, I take an interest in the politicians I like (or don't like), to see what they've been up to, what they've said and done in the past and how they've voted on issues I care about.

To name just a few (as you know, foreign policy and national defense issues are very important to me):

Biden pushed for airstrikes by NATO in Bosnia and for investigations into possible war crime trials in the former Yugoslavia.

Biden voted in 2002 in favor of authorizing military force against Iraq. That's a position I favored as well.

He also proposed breaking up Iraq into three self-governing zones. That's also a position I with which I agree.

He wanted us to get out of Iraq as soon as possible to that the "American face" off the occupation. And he called of American aid to be conditioned upon respect for women's rights.

He opposed abrogation of the ABM Treaty.

He co-sponsored legislation restricting aid to the Palestinian Authority until Hamas renounces violence and recognizes Israel.

I could go on and on with policy differences between Biden and Trump, particularly when it comes to NATO.
