There will come a point where technology will be too overwhelming. To date I do what I can to foil such foolery. All sensor information on my cell phone is off. Location is off. I have gone as far as disallowing sites like Google and at least 74 others from following me. You have to subscribe to certain sites.

Also certain apps I just refuse to use. Or a least clear their caches and data collection areas before using them if I absolutely must.

Yet all this will eventually be moot. The technology will go beyond my limited abilities to hender them. See links above.

I am also very aware that media plays a certain roll. For the most part I recognize it for what it is. Advertising is not what it seems. And I ignore most of it. I just don't buy those kinds of products. And my news information comes from multiple sources.

I refuse to watch any professional sports as well as follow any celebrity entertainment type shows. When special type shows are aired I mostly ignore them. They are all designed for the already brain dead.

I give thought to all this and more. Those links are just a few on what is "popular". There's far far more than what is shown. 馃様
