@Neutral Cops are not entirely innocent, if they had not stood on his neck, they wouldn't be in prison.

Floyd was clearly resisting arrest, the autopsy showed he had meth in his system... if that report is true. However, the cop's job is not to be judge, jury and executioner. When someone is saying they can't breathe, if the cops had made different choices and then if Floyd died in the ambulance anyways, they wouldn't have been in prison today.

There probably would still be riots but it would get a lot harder to say the police caused Floyd's death if they had some empathy and withheld doubt for Floyd whether he was lying or not.

Everyone deserves a fair trial, if you look at Floyd's actions, he could have been scared because he had drugs in his system (possibly) but he genuinely didn't know he had a counterfeit bill, that's not the actions of someone who is guilty of making counterfeit bills.

@SatanBurger Just think, if the perp had not passed phony bills, stayed off drugs, stayed away from booze, stayed home instead of driving incapacitated, he would be alive today

@sunsporter1649 Yes he would, agreed. However, in the video, there was another guy with Floyd who passed a counterfeit bill. The cops let him go after Floyd was taken away in the ambulance. In the video, the person with him had dreads and the police go and question him, he says something to them and the cop says "thank you" and lets him leave. They must have let him go because they had more information after the Floyd incident. That does show that Floyd was innocent of the counterfeit charges if he wasn't innocent from drugs in his system.

The cops stood on his neck for 7 minutes, you're not going to tell me that with 5 officers there, that's the only option they had.

That's the bottom line here.
